State-Funded Preschool (Ages 3 and 4):
State-funded preschool serves 3- and 4-year-old children with a diagnosed disability, as well as 4-year-old children who turn four by August 1, 2026, and meet income eligibility guidelines.
Tuition-Based Preschool (Ages 3 and 4):
Tuition-based preschool is available for children who turn 3 or 4 by August 1, 2026, and do not meet income eligibility requirements.
Henderson County Schools 2026-27 school year online registration for preschool through 12th grade officially opens on March 18, 2026. Families are encouraged to complete the online process early, particularly for preschool enrollment.
