We also could use your help in car rider line. It is going well and we are getting through the line in about 15 min for each arrival and departure. Thanks for being alert and having your little one ready to exit the car or getting them buckled in quickly. This helps tremendously. Please do not use the outside lane on Elm St. to drive past all other waiting car riders to try and turn right in front of the cars already in line. We are asking that the bus lane stays open and that all cars lined up before turning in to TBJ lot fit on to the side of 7th St. ready to turn right into our parking lot. Left turns from 7th St. into the parking lot are not permitted during arrival and pick up times. Also, left turns from Elm St. to 7th St. are not permitted during arrival and pick up times. The attached map shows what our car rider line should look like at these areas. We appreciate your thoughtful attention to these matters to ensure the safety of everyone in the lines during arrival and dismissal.

We have a wonderful tradition here in Henderson that started a few years ago — our graduating seniors get to walk the halls of their former elementary and middle schools! 🎓✨ It's such a meaningful way to celebrate their journey & reconnect with former teachers &staff. Watching the younger students cheer them on reminds us all of how far they've come — and how bright their futures are!

🌟 This week, we proudly join the nationwide celebration of National Volunteer Appreciation Week—a special time within National Volunteer Month dedicated to honoring the amazing individuals who give so generously to our schools and students.
TBJ: Good evening! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter 🐣 weekend. I wanted to let all families know that the deconstruction of the front office area began Friday. The car rider line will wrap around the 6th St. side, as it did after the water break. Check outs/ins will be at the 6th St side exit door. Thank you!
beginning tomorrow, we can use our front lobby! We will resume normal arrival. departure, check in etc. You should have received a letter and a new permission slip for our postponed zoo trip. Due to impending weather forecast we will go to the zoo on 4/15 & 4/16. Thanks
Due to water-covered roads, continued rising waters throughout the morning, and the threat of severe weather, Henderson County Schools will be closed on Friday, March 3.
This will not be an NTI day of instruction. Child care centers will be open today at East Heights, Bend Gate, and Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center.
