A big congratulations to our Colonel Cheerleaders as they have had a great year. They placed 1st at KHSAA Regionals, Top 10 at KHSAA State, Qualifying for Nationals competing against 34 of the best teams in the Medium NT Gameday Division 1 at Nationals. Congratulations Ladies!

Congratulations to the Colonels Archery Team as they took 1st place with a score of 3305 in the UC Indian Brave Challenge. Lady Colonels came out with 1st Place - DixiAnne Nurrenbern, 3rd Place - Elizabeth Scott, 4th place - Jazlyn Slayton, and 5th place - Haley Jo Hovey. Colonels came out with 1st place - Duncan Vaughn, 2nd place - Hudson Nobles, 3rd place - Logan Richmond and 5th place - Alberto Aquilera.


Henderson County High School took 3rd place at the State Rifle Championship this weekend with a combined score of 1984. The team consisted of Alexzander Stokes, Addison McKenzie, Nolan Abo, and Christian Mayes. Alexzander Stokes took 1st place in the individual new shooter category and Addison Mckenzie took 2nd place in the individual new shooter category.


Tennis tryouts will be moved to next week. Conditioning will continue at the YMCA on Tuesday and Thursday as long as we are in session.


JUNIORS who are applying to the HCC Jumpstart Program, applications are due to Ms. Amanda Joyner (red unit) on Friday, February 14th.


The next DECA meeting will be Monday, February 17 after school until 4:45 pm in T103. This meeting is for students attending SCDC, and parents are invited to attend. The agenda can be found on the DECA Google Classroom.

Congratulations to Trey Roy! On Tuesday, he competed in Boone County for Culinary Arts and placed 1st for our Region. He will move on to State in April.


Tonight our boys and girls basketball teams have a big district game at Webster County. It is their annual teddy bear toss at halftime of the boy's game. We have been asked to participate in this event, so if you are going to the game grab a stuffed animal, and let’s come together to support the Ronald McDonald House!


On 1/27/25 Brooklyn Gibson, Lady Colonel Junior made her 1000 career point. This past Saturday before the Lady Colonel Game she was celebrated and given a ball with the name, date, and 1000-point career on it.
We are so proud of Brooklyn and the hard work and determination it took to complete that many baskets!
